A major benefit of the ACT-24 is that it mimics the stages of the spin tube reference method. Therefore it does not require any changes in the way in which samples are prepared thus requiring little training time.

The single difference is the use of bent reaction tubes but these are handled exactly the same way as the traditional ones.
